Stacy Neilson, Positively Vegan / Healthcare

Stacy Neilson is a Critical Care Registered Nurse who has worked across Canada in small and large acute care settings. In 2023, Stacy co-founded Positively Vegan, a non-profit society dedicated to making plant-based living accessible, inclusive, and normalized. Through events like VegFest Victoria, Nanaimo, and Kelowna, the organization builds joyful, community-driven experiences that invite people to take the next step toward change—wherever they are on their journey.

Stacy connects planetary health and population health to advocate for default systemic changes better for human and non-human animals and the planet. Her work bridges healthcare, policy, and grassroots advocacy to empower communities toward healthier, more compassionate, and more sustainable systems.
