Entry is by donation, to support the ongoing viability and growth of the festival and other events.
Yes. You are welcome to be a vendor regardless of your own choices provided that all items you bring to and promote at VegFest are entirely plant-based and cruelty-free. We ask that you embrace being ‘Vegan-for-the-Day’ at our event.
We love our furry friends, and we would love to see those furry faces, so long as they are safe and respect people and the park policies (dogs must be on leash and 10 meters away from playgrounds).
There are off-leash dog areas nearby: Lake Avenue Beach Access, accessed by the tunnel under the bridge; and Kerry Park, near the Sails.
There is a parking lot at City Park, though it may fill up quickly, especially around lunch.
There’s plenty of parking nearby. Street parking and parkades are free on Sundays. View the City of Kelowna parking information for details.
Check BC Transit to find bus routes. There are many that will bring you to the Queensway Exchange. From there, City Park is a 10-minute walk
Yes, you will find some vegan gluten-free options available.
If you have severe allergies, it’s always best to communicate directly with the vendor before consuming.
Absolutely! We are always grateful for volunteer support. Please apply to volunteer.
Yes, the Kids Zone will have colouring, trivia, books, games, bubbles, and other family-friendly activities dedicated to younger VegFesters. All are welcome!
Not this year, but we will work on cooking demos for future events.
We highly encourage bringing your own reusable containers and cutlery to help reduce waste and support our sustainability initiatives.
Yes. There will be some tables and chairs where you can relax and enjoy your plant-based finds from our amazing vendors. You can also bring your own chairs and picnic setup, and enjoy your food while listening to our VegFest guest speakers.
VegFest will go on, rain or shine, so come prepared with weather-appropriate gear just in case!
Just chat with them or check them out online—the vendor list is tagged where possible. Every vendor at VegFest is committed to only offer vegan food for VegFest.
We’re trying to create change. Being inclusive to non-vegan vendors results in more and better vegan options for our community – that’s a win in our books!
Yes. We’ve got a tasty lineup of food trucks and other vendors. While lineups are typical in festival events, we will be doing our best to keep things moving quickly. Here’s a list of the vendors this year.
Yes! The Positively Vegan team hosted VegFest Nanaimo on July 6, 2025 and VegFest Victoria on August 16, 2025 and we are making plans for 2026!
