Professional juggler🤹, Circus artist, slackliner and dancer

My name is Tom Langstaff, I am a professional Juggler and circus artist born in Victoria, BC. I have been juggling for 13 years and have performed in many circus themed shows including Ladysmith light festival, The Freakshow circus and I joined a travelling circus in new Zealand.

9 years ago I went vegetarian after being in culinary school after one particular day where I had to take apart hundreds of ducks. I haven't eaten meat since that day. Around two years ago I made the leap and went vegan (whole food plant based) and the change has helped my circus art immensely. I find this lifestyle really works for me and helps me endure hours of practice without getting as exhausted as I used to. I find I can go for longer and don't get out of breath anymore. After seeing the benefits for myself I don't think I could ever go back. Also morally I don't think I could eat animals knowing all the cruelty that goes into making meat. It's something I can never close my eyes to after that day in culinary school. I am grateful for the positive change veganism has had on my life and on my passions.
